Satan is still doing this today by false teachers who are "turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (practiced sin)." He has now justified sin by proclaiming all "saved" who simply "believe in Jesus' name." James 2:19 has something to say about this, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." Again, his encouragement to sin is taught in every pulpit as was predicted 2,000 years ago. What are they saved from?
                Paul warned of this in II Corinthians 11:13-15, "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." You will know false teachers by their justification of sin and their disobedience to the commandments of God. Their end will be according to their actions or works, not according to their speech. For instance, a professing "Christian" who is immoral (sex before marriage or outside of marriage) shows us by his actions that he has not been "delivered" from any sin, and is still in need of repentance and a change of heart that leads to a change of actions. His immoral actions will condemn him to hell on judgment day.
                Ephesians 5:5-6, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." God's wrath comes upon the children of disobedience, which is anyone practicing sin, even "church leaders." Don't let man lie to you and excuse away their sins and yours. Your sins that you practice each and every day will cause you to receive the wrath of God, no matter how many insincere prayers you pray!
                I Corinthians 6:9-10, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
